Our first premium cold brew tea flavor is Fit Brū Maté Hibiscus (Yerba Maté (mate) + Hibiscus tea). Our green maté is sourced from Brazil which is the largest producer of maté in the world and their influence and passion for mate is stemmed from the 17 th century influence from Paraguay, which first resonated in South America with the people of Chile and Peru. Our hibiscus flowers are sourced from Egypt where a the red species is predominantly grown and consumed in the form of tea.
Maté Hibiscus goes through the same brewing and filtration process as our cold brew coffees to keep high-level processing consistent across our entire product line. After being brewed and filtered we infuse our yerba mate hibiscus tea base with an apoptogenic mushroom blend call PeakO 2 TM . PeakO 2 is an organic-certified, USA grown, patent-pending blend of apoptogenic mushrooms (Cordyceps, Reshi, King Trumpet, Shiitake, Lion’s Mane, and Turkey Tail), which helps one to “adapt” to and overcome physical and mental stress. PeakO 2 elevates peak power output, improves VO2 max and extends time-to-exhaustion for longer, stronger, more effective workouts. PeakO 2 is Informed-Choice and Informed-Sport certified.
Once our Maté Hibiscus is deemed Fit Brū, we load it into huge brite tanks and pressurize it with Co2 at a very specific temprature to control bubble size. Our carbonation level is high, but our bubble are smaller making them less agressive, which enances the flavor rather than taking away from the flavor. Our fill level on our carbonated, cold brew teas is 12 fl. oz.
